The Brazos County A&M Club invites you to the November luncheon featuring:

Dave South

The iconic "Voice of Aggieland", brought Texas A&M sports to life on the radio for over three decades

Dave South is a legendary Texas A&M broadcaster, best known for his 35-year play‑by‑play career calling Aggie football, basketball, and baseball games, and for his 47‑year collegiate radio career in total.

Dave brought Texas A&M sports to life behind the microphone. His 1998 Big 12 Championship call of Sirr Parker’s winning touchdown was named one of the top 100 calls of the 20th century.  Broadcasting over 2,000 Aggie baseball games, his thunderous voice defined generations of Aggie sports history.

A 2018 recipient of the prestigious National Football Foundation Chris Schenkel Award, Dave will share unforgettable, behind-the-scenes stories from his 48-year broadcasting career and his memoir, You Saw Me on the Radio.

Dave remains right here in College Station, staying deeply active in his church and the local community alongside his wife, Leanne '94. Grounded by his faith and a deep sense of gratitude, he describes his outlook on life as simply "thankful and fearless."

Get ready for a lunch of incredible memories, laughter, and pure Aggie spirit!
